This attractive route takes us through the Lérez river landscapes in an area of high ecological value and close to the town from where we will go on foot. In order to see some of the most remarkable bridges of Pontevedra we can bridge from Burgo's oldest city and a symbol of this. We continue the walk along the shore as we pass next to the bridge of Santiago simple and modern bridge suspenders. Our continuous walk between banana row without leaving the banks of the Lérez. After this first more urban stretch the landscape becomes more authentic where oaks, chestnut trees, riparian vegetation and small trails of the old route of fishermen who enter the so-called halls of Lérez, areas where the river eddies abound and runs calm. At this point we can continue along the river or a section of the road leading to Monteporreiro to see the landscape from above. In Monteporreiro is advisable detour to access the Mirador de Monteporreiro that offers beautiful views of the end of the river. We return the path to the waterfall approach Monteporreiro and the remains of the old spa of Aguas del Lérez. In this place there was a small spa only remaining ruins of the building. To move to the other side of the Lérez and go back to Pontevedra you will go over an old iron bridge over the river and among alders, reeds and other species arrive at the place of Fontaiña. From there we go down a path that leads the access stairway to the convent of Sano Benito de Lérez where every year, on July 11, come in pilgrimage thousands of devotees from San Benitiño, or "more milagreiro Santo". After this must back along the shore to the place of Fontaiña and we can return in the Island of Sculptures and return to the city center by any of the bridges that skirted the beginning of the route.
